A gifford is a spineless human being that spends most of its free time watching YouTube videos about subjects or issues that enrage it, and thinks that because it leaves concurring comments in the comments section it's part of the solution. It has absolutely no plans to actually do anything about it in real life. Alas, leaving comments on YouTube videos is a far as the gifford's activism should go. A gifford usually has no idea that it is in fact a gifford, and will become very agitated should it be called out about being a gifford. This very rarely happens, though, since a gifford only feels brave when it's alone with no witnesses to its YouTube history, and the chances of it actually saying something outloud and exposing itself in a fluid real life situation are miniscule.
The YouTube comments section is full of giffords. Total giffords. Super giffords, if you will.
