A wikitangent is when you goes to the website Wikipedia to learn more about a certain topic, but end up getting sidetracked by various links to other articles.

"I went on a wikitangent from Helen Keller to Standard Oil to anti-trust laws by state to the Roman Empire to Pervez Musharaf... I'm so ADD."

wik-ee-tan; 1. Used to refer to someone that you would have sex with.
2. Used to say, "I want to have sex with you," to someone directly without them comprehending what you have said.

The word was developed within the doors of a restaurant when a Chinese woman approached the cook who made her steak. With a smile on her face, she told him, "Wikitan! Wikitan!" The search for a meaning was failure, and so it was deemed "I want to have sex with you" after several of the restaurant's experts discussed.

A distracting tangential experience one commonly has while performing research on a particular subject through wikipedia.

"I was working on my paper when I got lost on a wikitangent. I was off topic for hours before I refocused on the task at hand."

"I went on so many wikitangents, I had a wikerection all night."
