A real man that steps up and takes care of some other guys children after having wed their mother. This man is helping his wife to raise the children and he is either appreciated or he isn't. Not all stepdads are mean, bullies, assholes, etc. that abuse the head of household position. There are stepdads that really do care and only want the best for his " family ". Not all stepdads are some loser these kid's mom picked up someplace. Most moms put a lot of thought into choosing the man she wants to help take care of those she dearly loves.

Two teens were hanging out talking about life at home. One told the other how his stepdad didn't respect him and treated him like crap. The other teen responded " Wow dude, that sucks, my stepdad is the best thing that ever happened for my mom and me."

A complete asshole that makes your childhood a living hell and causes a lot of kids to rebel against authority, they always make up bullshit chores and rules that make no fucking sense what so ever most act like their dicks hang to the floor and think that their step children should love and respect them not realizing that the kids hate him because he’s blinded by his massive ego and ignorance he thinks he can cure the world of everything bad but in reality he never went to collage and bullies everyone in the house until a stranger is around because he has to look good in front of everyone possible except his step family because his dick is too big to care a lot of step fathers end up pushing kids into a helpless stage without realizing it and as soon as the kids have to much they snap and then the step dad wonders why the kid would do something that because he could never be to blame for anything bad because he’s the fuckibg rebirth of Christ himself and his step kids are so lucky to have him in their lives to say everything in the house is theirs even though it was your mother and biological father that bought and paid for the house and most the things inside of it because it’s still all his because he’s an egotistical asshole

Me : Sorry I can’t my stepdad needs to lecture me for asking for toothpaste

A guy who's married to his wife, beats her step-kids and sleeps with other women. Thinks he can do anything he wants. Has a dependency for alcohol and gets very nasty when drunk.

Male 1: Did you hear about the loud noises coming from that house over the road last night?

Male 2: No I didn't. Why, has something happened?

Male 1: Well, I heard Susan's husband went bat-shit crazy and threatened to kill everyone, I mean you could the hear the dogs barking too. It lasted for ages.

A piece of shit who thinks that because he is married to your mom you should be his personal slave. The stepdad also uses whatever chance he can get to loudly talk about how badly raised you are. Side effects of being a stepdad include treating your own children better than your stepchild while still expecting more out of them and just as much respect.
