The opposite of a pedophile (depending on your definition). One who is afraid of and/or hates pre-pubescent kids to the point where it interrupts their lives.
An irrational fear of feet.
This fear can be of the persons own feet or feet of someone elses.
The fear can have different side affects such as fear of stepping in shoe shops or even shops that sell socks.
The fear can also be feet in general (Ex. looking at feet) or of looking and/or touching bare feet.
People with feet phobias are not diseased and there is nothing wrong with them.
Podophobia sufferers sometimes recieve taunts from non suffers:
Person one: Can you put some shoes on please?
Person two: Why?
Person one: Coz I have a foot phobia
Person two: hahahhahahahahahahhaha rotfl *waves feet in face*
The septigenarian tried to get the preschool across the street shut down because he couldn't stand the sound of the children playing - what a pedophobe.
Actually, pedo is a derivation of latin word "paedo", while means children. Therehence, a pedopobic person has a fear of children. More correctly, this is spelled and pronounced paedo, not pedo, which is a form of transport.
An irrational and often hard to explain fear of feet. A podophobic may be squeamish at the sight, touch and sound of feet (if your podophobic, you know what sound a foot makes).
Can range from hesistance to touch a foot to wearing shoes to sleep and can get in the way of intimate relationships.
