Paturdity Leave 

The legal entitlement for men in the work place to take extended time off during work hours to extricate their bowels i.e. drop the kids off at the pool.

Paturdity comes from a need for equality for men. Woman have maternity leave from work, men should be allowed time off for their own deliveries.

Caternity Leave 

When one acquires a new kitten or cat and must have paid or unpaid leave from work to revel in all it's feline glory. Similar to maternity or paternity leave.

Andrea just got a new kitten from the pound. All she wants to do is stay home, take pictures and feed him Temptations, so she went on Caternity Leave.

A company benefit that] provides paid time-off for people who have recently adopted or rescued a new puppy or kitten.

Pete had to take a sick day to stay home with his new puppy because he didn’t want to leave him alone.

A period of time where the woman takes advantage of the fact that shes a woman and gets paid for not showing up to work. Don't ask why, or else risk being branded as woman hater by feminists.

Taking paid time off from work to care for a newly adopted animal companion. This can also apply to pets that have babies.

Worker 1: "I haven't seen Sarah in a few days, where the hell is she?"

Worker 2: "You didn't hear? She adopted a new cat so she's on peturnity leave."

A period of maternity leave, unexpected by friends and co-workers as nobody knew the Mother to be was expecting, due to her already substantial build.
