the Pool of Memory in Greek mythology
It is located in the underworld of Tartarus next to a white poplar tree. Its opposite is Lethe, The Pool of Forgetfulness. Souls are to drink from Lethe so they do not remember their lives on earth. Orpheus knew a secret password to get to Mnemosyne, though, which he passed on to a group of ghosts. They dropped the password to Hades's guards and were allowed to drimk from Mnemosyne. This gave them knowledge of past lives, as well as the future.
I drank from Mnemosyne and remembered the answers to the test.

Rin-Daughters of Mnemosyne

One of the darkest, most sadistic, and best anime series' around. The story takes place from 1990-2055. The series is about Rin, who looks as though she's in her twenties or early thirties, but is actually immortal. For the first few episodes she runs a detective agency in Shinjuku with her friend Mimi, who is also immortal. While solving mysteries about deaths surrounding them and their friends, Rin and Mimi try to solve the mystery of whose been causing Rin suffering in her eternal life and trying to find a way to kill her once and for all.

The series is comprised of six 45-minute long episodes, each of them taking place in a different year. This is a great series that focuses on relationships, revenge, and the value of life
Rin-Daughters of Mnemosyne is one of the most underrated shows of all time. I seriously wish they would've made more episodes.

Mnemonia

Like "Pneumonia", but an illness whereby death is caused by a Memory.

When you remember something, and that memory results in your death.
"Bro, I think that old rando died because of her Pedo Family Memoirs. And she got Mnemonia."

"I didn't realize being a mother would require, years of that.... Now I get heart palpitations from my terminal Mnemonia."

"Woah, grandpa totally died in the ER, from COVID, but not even from COVID. He just remembered that time when... He had Mnemonia."

"Mnemonia is when you can't breath and die but because of your memories and not because of your Pneumonia"

The Mnemonic Effect in Advertising

This effect results in the way the brain works, when viewing any advertisement.

The less relevant the message is to the viewer, the more likely it is for him to start thinking of the products or services he is already using.

This might create a buying decision, but not the one the advertiser is expecting.

Advertising incorrectly can actually stimulates the sales of the advertisers competition.
E.g. Your driving your car and hear a pizza commercial on the radio.

You might think of the advertiser, but if you know this commercial your more likely to ask yourself if your hungry, then if you feel like pizza, and if so, then you'll probably order pizza from your favorite pizza place, which might not be the one that is advertised.

In the end you might even end up buying a burger instead. In this case the commercial just reminded you that you were hungary.

And this is how the mnemonic effect in advertising works
Mother of the nine muses by Zeus. Also known as the goddess of memory.
Mnemosyne is an important but not too mentioned figure in Greek mythology.
