Jazz poetry is poetry infused with the free improvisatory feeling or actual improvisational structure of Jazz. Whereas the poem is written, its emphasis is on conveying the rhythm and cadence of Jazz in the speaking or performance of it.
"Jazz poetry swings a rhythm the beat a cadence is free delights like Jazz itself is free and fresh and always in the groove."
