To become intensely angry or annoyed. Sometimes expressed as having a "case of the ass." The phrase was popularized in the military. To give someone a case of the ass is to anger them.

Having my ass is typically used in surprising situations that may or may not be unpleasant. It is very similar to the term "deadass" and these can often be used interchangeably
