A person who passionately advocates for gender equality, encourages men to go to therapy, and insists that women can do anything men can do. They often use pronoun identifiers (e.g., he/him) and strongly believe in progressive social norms. However, they tend to listen more to respond than to learn, making conversations feel like debates rather than discussions.
1. "I tried to have a deep conversation about gender roles, but the guy was such an EquiTalker—he just kept repeating the same points without really engaging."
2. "Sarah's an EquiTalker. She means well, but she shuts down any perspective that doesn’t match hers."
3. "Dude, I mentioned that men struggle too, and this EquiTalker jumped in with a speech about toxic masculinity before I even finished my sentence."

The grindset is a contemporary ideology of self-exploitation disguised as strength, deeply tied to the aesthetics of the “sigma male” and to new digital forms of patriarchy. It promotes the idea that human worth depends on productivity, economic success, absolute emotional control, and the ability to work endlessly, turning vulnerability, rest, community, and tenderness into signs of weakness. Beneath its rhetoric of discipline and power often lies a profound inability to relate healthily to pain, fragility, and human interdependence.
“That’s the grindset, brother. While weak men sleep and complain, sigma males stay disciplined, work in silence, suppress emotions, and build power while everyone else wastes time chasing comfort.”
