Disunderstand

verb//(dis-un-der-stand)- to fail to comprehend or understand why something is the way it is, when it is obvious that the situation should be otherwise or the situation defies logic or common sence. Similar in meaning to misunderstand, however it implies that the speaker blames the sourse, often a person or group of people, for intentional causing confusion or simply being too lazy to clarify the situation.
I just got a soda from the machine and it's flat. I disunderstand; I just saw the soda man stock the machines.

Missunderstanding

When a woman rejects information (especially from a man) based on the tone in which it is delivered. Related to mansplaining.
Let's get our egos out of the way of sharing accurate information: I'll stop mansplaining if you stop missunderstanding.

Even if what you're saying is correct, I'm still entitled to my missunderstanding.

Disunderstanding

When a person falsely believes that they've been slighted by something written or said by another person, when in fact it was actually something taken out of context.
Let's say you have a friend named Tom who happens to have an identical twin who's also named Tom but the difference being that this one is an unlikable hideous slob and one day your friend eavesdrops on you disrespecting his unkempt bro and he gets angry because he thinks you're talking about him, hence you have a disunderstanding on your hands.

Disunderstand

To believe something with great confidence that in fact is verifiably false.

"It's clear you disunderstand how a baby comes in to the world because it's pretty much established that storks aren't involved."

Missunderstand

A corollary to mansplain, to missunderstand is to ignore information based on the condescending tone of the explainer. While a missunderstanding sometimes results in a missed opportunity for a greater understanding, it is also a partially justified skepticism, since mansplainers are frequently overconfident in their beliefs. Just as mansplaining is now more broadly understood to not exclusively apply to men “splaining” to women, men can also missunderstand.
If you would stop mansplaining for a minute and talk to me like an intelligent adult, I would not be be in a better position to not missunderstand your valid points (assuming there are any).

Missunderstandings

A missunderstanding happens when a girl or unmarried woman (a miss) understands what a male is saying as mansplaining when they are simply being a person freely speaking.
Hey, you are missunderstanding what I'm saying.
I'm only voicing my opinion, take it or leave it, no need to reduce me to such absurdity.

Missunderstandings done by calling me a mansplainer is only polarizing.

missunderstand

The way you would comprehend or otherwise view a particular concept, object, event, etc. if you think of it in the way that a girl or unmarried woman might.
I tried to figure out about the macho tendencies that so many dudes seem to have, but as a humble-minded and "peace 'n' negotiations"-loving lady, it was impossible for me to missunderstand the whole idea.
