Couch sleeper 

More commonly referred to as a dirty hipster, a couch sleeper is an individual who engages with other hippies in a social setting, typically have a low standard of living, and don't take showers as often as they should. They also have no problem sleeping on the couch of someone they just met, and typically do it every weekend.

They love indie bands such as Grouplove, and Passion Pit.

This dirty hipster invited me to burning man this year, but there's no way in hell I'm going, nothing but a bunch of couch sleepers there.

this is usually the punishment for us dudes that lives with our girlfriends or already married, if u piss off your wife, this is the least that she will do

Trevor: Man, i have to sleep on the couch for the next 2 nights..:(

Jack: Why?

Trevor: I pissed off my girlfriend

Let me sleep on the couch 

When you want to do something that someone else will not let you do because it seems less fun than the alternative.

You come back home drunk and your friend is trying to force you into your bed, but you say, "Let me sleep on the couch", and they will not let up until you are sleeping in your bed.
