Acronym for 'Sarcastic Post Of The Day''. Most commonly found on various Yahoo sites, such as Answers, Groups, and Suggestions. Pronounced the same as 'spotted'

Have you seen the new 'SPOTD'? It was "Yahoo spell check claims 'Yahoo' is misspelled". :-)

Second poop of the day. Although not quite as staisfying as the FPOTD (first poop of the day) it is worth mentioning.
