A person who follows the religion of Islam. Muslims are monotheistic and believe that Muhammad is the final prophet sent to earth. Muslims do believe in the prophets Jesus and Moses, as well as many other prophets. The holy book of Muslims is the Qur'an (or Koran) and like Christians go to church, Muslims go to a mosque. Islam teaches Muslims to be tolerant of other religions and to treat all humans with respect. BEING A MUSLIM DOES NOT MAKE A PERSON A TERRORIST AND NOT ALL TERRORISTS ARE MUSLIMS.
