(noun, can be used as an adjective)
A character from the horribly drawn and weakly written anime of Inuyasha. Most negative comments about her are downplayed by the idiotic fans of the series, who are unable to see the logic in why so many people hate her and other characters like her. Kagome idolizes the ancient perversion that Japanese history has towards woman and small children. The cartoon is convoluted by the way the story never progresses and the characters always have new traits added to them, making them shallow and uninteresting. Japan, Anime, and Manga(mohn-gah not main-gah) all have their perks, but characters like Kagome destroy the artistry of the genre.
(adjective) She's always being defeated, she can't do anything, what a Kagome.

(noun) Kagome is THE most horrible character in Anime.

The reincarnation of Kikyou. All Kagome wanted to do was have a normal life, and she did. She was an A student, pretty and popular with the greatest friends and a perfect boy who is in love with her. Yay. How original. She is a big character in Inuyasha, healing his scars for his separation from Kikyou and also aiding him. Her common traits are whiny, kind, sweet, happy, stupid, ditzy and intruding. Personally, I find her annoying and I'd rather Inuyasha be with Kikyou, because they were really meant to be until that mummy came in. Maybe that was Kagome, using a time portal. Who knows.
Kagome, you got another A! Liek, OMG!! You so deserve to be special! Liek, omg! You're so pretty! I luv ur hair! Kagome kawaii!! No, you're not in the manga for fan service! LIEK NO WAY!

the reincarnation of Kikyou.

when kikyou died and was cremated with the jewel, the reincarnation was in Kagome and she had the jewel of four souls embedded in her side.

and kagome also has unique skills such as powers from her hand, and the ability to blow things up and sever/dismember them. not many people have this ability, it's one in a million, and as she physically resembles kikyou that proves the point.

kagome has kikyou's maturity and seriousness, and ability to solve puzzles/problems which kikyou was good at. she is also very stubborn, and has a mature attitude to things. and she can make kikyou's spells disappear and can utter the subdugation spell on Inuyasha. she's a witch too.

she is a modern day schoolgirl in japan, as she dresses in the classic sailor uniform with long loose socks and brown shoes. she has a very pretty wardrobe.

she has the same eyes as kikyou, and the same makeup knowledge (as she wears makeup sometimes). and from the side (profile view) she looks exactly like kikyou. they have the same hair... kagome can break kikyou's barriers and most of her spells. and kagome is more powerful than kikyou because she is more beautiful and has more power to draw men to her.
kagome means basket made of reeds

A hot 15 year old that is on a show called "Inuyasha", or as Koga calls him, Inutrasha.

1. A young child's play game, 'Circle You, Circle you' in English. One child is chosen as the oni (literally demon or ogre, but similar to the concept of "it" in tag) and sits blindfolded (or with their eyes covered). The other children join hands and walk in circles around the oni while chanting the song for the game. When the song stops, the oni speaks aloud the name of the person behind them, and if they are correct, the person behind will exchange places with the oni.

Lyrics: Kagome kagome, the bird in the cage, when, when will you come out? In the evening of the dawn, the crane and turtle slipped. Who stands right behind you now?

The rhyme can be given an even more sinister meaning when you imagine that "in the evening of the dawn" translates to "in the end of light", "the end of first light", or to "one who backstabs you early in the morning (in your sleep)". The latter makes even more sense because Kagome, in the cage, is blind-folded.

2. A dark-themed song by Megurine Luka and Miku Hatsune from the popular Vocaloid. It's about children who cannot die. They are mentally unstable and will kill at any chance. Very good song, but also very creepy.
1. Alright, kids, gather around and link hands. Lets play Kagome Kagome! Do you remember the rules? If the Kagome can't guess who's behind them, then we circle them again. Remember--Those who circle Himeko are the Oni, and Himeko is the bird, or Kagome.

2. Kagome Kagome, please don't try to run from us. Kagome, Kagome, what games will we play can I guess? Before the moon sets again, you can play with us until then! Kagome, Kagome, who surrounds you everywhere? | Orphanage deep in the forest greens, so no one would find the dark machines. Made from a little child's brain, immortality built of children's pain. | Even if your head is crushed in, even if your arm is taken. The children who can never die, they laugh at you sweetly

One of the main characters of a very popular anime/manga series. She is a 15 year old japan inhabitant, who falls through a well, meets a half demon, Inu Yasha, and falls in love with him while searching for peices of a broken jewel. I highly suggest it.
