the reincarnation of Kikyou.
when kikyou died and was cremated with the jewel, the reincarnation was in Kagome and she had the jewel of four souls embedded in her side.
and kagome also has unique skills such as powers from her hand, and the ability to blow things up and sever/dismember them. not many people have this ability, it's one in a million, and as she physically resembles kikyou that proves the point.
kagome has kikyou's maturity and seriousness, and ability to solve puzzles/problems which kikyou was good at. she is also very stubborn, and has a mature attitude to things. and she can make kikyou's spells disappear and can utter the subdugation spell on Inuyasha. she's a witch too.
she is a modern day schoolgirl in japan, as she dresses in the classic sailor uniform with long loose socks and brown shoes. she has a very pretty wardrobe.

Fear of becoming old (wants to look young, stay young looking, have the cute cherubic good looks)
Fear of becoming fat (dieting/starving)
Fear of being anorexic (the disorder. they deny having it)
Fear of fat/fat people/the word 'fat'/being called fat
Fear of other anorexics (themselves)
Fear of medication, treatement, people, doctors, nurses, recovering, they are scared they will be fat in other words.
Also an EXTREME FEAR (high phobia) or a very high fear of gaining weight. That is, normal to slight weight gain, even a small amount of weight gain unless it's very small like 10g. thin. what girls want to be. skinny doesn't mean fat. skinny people are different from normal, healthy sized people. guys are skinny, girls are not.
skinny defined in asia as "someone who lacks nutrients in foods they eat, they may not eat a lot/have anorexia, but eats a lot of junk; unhealthy/health problem VERY SERIOUS, needs to get fat/gain a lot of weight"
in western societies, skinny means "having the perfect sized, toned, legs with white thighs and skinny ankles."
