Ye old English word for "last night." An archaic term specifically detailing events from 6pm-12am the day before.

Person 1: The festivities of giestranniht disturbed my rest.
Person 2: I know you're an English major, but just say the party from last night. It make a lot more sense for the rest of us.
Person 1: Nay!
