literal definition is someone who takes credit for someone else’s fart
Also someone who steals your thunder or someone who takes credit for someone else’s work

I worked so hard on that project and Vincent stole all the credit even though he hardly did anything. He never even mentioned my name. He’s such a fartnapper!
