Amazing world class city! Friendly dense urban center known as the Windy City, located in the American Midwest on the Great Lakes.

City that raised from the ashes (was totally destroyed in a great fire), and in testament of will/ability of mankind, Chicago was rebuilt, better taller wider and prouder, welcoming all opportunity to make self/community... Including world's first skyscrapers, first feats of pure brick, to innovative steel frames that have led to the boom of beautiful skyscrapers of great cities all around world!

Chicago's a busy hustling but friendly city with something for everyone! Good business/work opportunity (many fortune 500), relatively affordable cost of living, diverse restaurants, clubs/nightlife, family friendly parks/museums (Navy Pier, parks all along lake front), concerts (Lollapalooza, House of Blues, largest free music festival), Shopping (magnificent mile/Woodsfield mall), Sports lover's paradise (Cubs/Sox, Da Bears!, Bulls, Blackhawks etc)… Many diverse communities, from suburban to urban, all identify as "Chicago'ins"! There's many amazing cities, but no place quite like good old Chicago!

Best damn city in the world!

Truly one of the greatest cities in the entire nation. With a total population exceeding 2.9 million inside the city limits alone, multiple cultures and ethnicities, cool-sounding urban, midwestern nasal accents (see ear candy), a rich history, tons of museums, theaters, arcades, the Brookfield Zoo; the best pizza outside of New York City, and probably one of the best city skylines in the United States, Chicago has something to offer to everyone. It is a higher standard of a metropolis that all other American cities strive to be like(and many of them have succeeded in that: see Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Detroit, Atlanta, DC, Denver, Omaha, and Seattle.

Big city with a beautiful skyline. Although geographically placed in the Midwestern state of Illinois, it should be considered it's own state since the rest of the midwest is filled with drunk redneck republicans.

one kickass town, home of the sears tower, hancock building, the navy pier, kapone, some kickass rappers like twista. If you can't hang here, don't bother trying. I live in the 'burbs though, but i've been therre plenty of times.
