When neighborhood dogs who are outdoors in their little adjacent yards all begin to bark in unison in response to something unknown to the human mind.

Heavy Bertation 

A general state of confusion, usually at an awards show or other celebrity event.
Everything started out fine but once the drinks were served the night quickly devolved into very heavy bertation.
