A very comfortable form of a thong, revealing more than a thong. Often just a string sewn to a triangle in the front stuck up someones butt.

G-String 

The group of 11 NFL players employed by the New York Giants and selected to be on the playing field at any given time.

The New York Giants are also known as the "G-Men". Thus, the offensive group of 11 players is the offensive G-String. The group of 11 defensive players are the defensive G-String.
