A woke friend that is so annoying that their own friends have the desire to strangle them, but instead they secretly roll their eyes. This person is woke to such an extreme that you cannot even joke or have hang out with them.

Susan wants to invite all over her friends to her house warming party, but she is hesitant to invite June because she is a choke and will even choke the mood of the party.
