Adjective. Something of limited functional or aesthetic value, accentuated by cultural eccentrics (often Hispanic). This term also implies generally bad taste and\or questionableness.
Having a big ass Nike swoosh on the side of a CRX is totally chente.

Man Jose is such a chent. He's lived in America for 10 years and still knows zero english. Everywhere he goes they have to get someone who speaks Spanish because he's a lazy Mexican and doesn't want to learn English.
