v. Deconstruction of a dish you've eaten by guessing what the ingredients and their amounts that make up a recipe.

Coined by reknowned wordsmith Craig Parr (Shelby Twp., MI).

I had the best tasting dish last night @ dinner. I am going to make it from a guessipe. I'm not quite sure was in it.

The merger of "guess" and "expectation".

Guy 1: Dude, I just applied at Blizzxxx. There's no way to follow-up with them; I hope I hear back in less than a month.

Guy 2: I heard the hiring is really slow-going right now in that department.

Guy 1: Really? Damn it! I better adjust my guesspectation to TWO months.

Phrasal Verb

If someone is gussied up, they are dressed in a fancy-enough or fashionable-enough way to be appropriately dressed for whatever venue or event their date takes them to.

She was all Guessied up in a dress and accessories that could take her from a ballpark to cocktail party, depending on where her blind date was planning to take her.
