brush stroke

A metaphor describing a distinct depiction of a narrative or the telling of a story of someones actions; especially an action or movement that has any degree of impact on an event; a unique perspective, experience, or point of view of someones own actions regarding an entire event - usually involving a group of people who experienced the same event or story.
"In the scheme of painting this whole picture in this ambush, - that was just my brush stroke. It's not above and beyond,- it was a brush stroke - the picture wouldn't be complete without a brush stroke...it wasn't more important than any other. It just happen to be my brush stroke that completed the picture."

1. Billy hate drafted Chad OchoCinco because he knew Sam had wanted him since he is from Cincinnati. Billy already had plenty of players to fill that position but wanted to make sure Sam didn't get him.

2. Billy hate drafted Peyton Manning because he was the only good quarterback left and he knew Sam had been planning on drafting him.
