Some relation to a grouper. One who grips - does very little of any value. In no way a "Big Gun".

Look at that fucking gripper over there in the barberry cap. (Note: DELIBERATE misspelling of Burberry - see definition)

Not dissimilar to grouper - but more enthusiastic/definite. A term of total non-endearment

"He is a massive fist" - probably some form of chav, gyspter, grouper etc.

Grouper

Comes from the well known fish species assynidae - often used to describe someone in a non-complimentary fashion. He is a massive grouper - he is a large, fat, "fish" - derogatory term used especially in card games.
