The love that lives in the space between your darkest self and someone else's peace — where your storms turn inward, your shadows stand guard, and every broken part of you silently swears to become her shelter.
Not loud. Not desperate. Not conditional.
Just a vow, made in the dark, that she will never feel it.

Etymology:

Umbra — Latin for shadow, the darkest part of a shade.
Vow — a promise made not to be heard, but to be kept.
"He never told her about the storms he carried — that was the nature of his umbravow."
