The first order of fries you eat because you’re craving French fries which comes before you get to eat the seriously good French fries that were not yet available to order.
The starter fries we ate took the edge off, but didn’t stop us from ordering more at a better restaurant.

Typically a kid in middle school who just listened to the Ramones for the first time. Starts wearing leather jackets, checkered slip on Vans, sunglasses that he gets in trouble for trying to wear in class. Can also lead into adulthood if the starter punk music never evolves into deeper punk genres (i.e. post punk, pop punk, folk punk, crust punk, etc.)
