Old school meaning for a strong young boy.

Which is odd thus concidering Springal has 'gal' after it's root word 'sprin.'

"Did you see that springal lift the car off his father after the jack collapsed?"

"Yeah, that kids had the strong stuff working for him that day!"

"Just wait until he grows from the experiences!"

"Good point! That kid's a springal all right!"

Springlock 

A device that can lock in place using a special spring and lock mechanism. It is mostly known for "Springlock suits", which is a suit that is featured in the famous game franchise, Five Nights at Freddy's. The suit has two modes, animatronic mode and well, suit mode. During animatronic mode, the suit is basically a metal endoskeleton with the costume of any animal on it. During suit mode, the springlocks will hold the endoskeleton out, so depending on the springlock's durability, you can safely put the suit on.

We need to add springlocks to lock this mechanism.
