sabrotage

The enactment of sabering (removing a cork from a bottle of champagne) using a saber or champagne sword is called sabrage. If the champagne bottle is broken, shatters, or explodes during this process, it can be said that it has run afoul of sabrotage. This is a portmanteau of the words sabotage and sabrage.
So while you sit back and your wondering why,
I got these shards of glass stuck in my eyes, “Surprise!”
Oh my god, it's a bloody mirage,
I'm tellin' y'all, it's sabrotage!

stabotage

If you're friend stabs you in the back, it's stabotage. If you're tires are slashed, it's stabotage. If you tie up your boat and someone cuts it loose, it's stabotage.

A sabrage is a technique for opening a champagne bottle with a saber, used for ceremonial occasions. The wielder slides the saber along the body of the bottle to break the top of the neck away, leaving the neck of the bottle open and ready to pour. The force of the blunt side of the blade hitting the lip breaks the glass to separate the collar from the neck of the bottle. One does not use the sharp side of the blade. The cork and collar remain together after separating from the neck.
When it comes to using the sabrage technique, it’s not sharpness or size of the blade that matters, but more importantly, it is the strength of the impact.

family sabotage

When you're single, your parents and married siblings, often with children, are demanding of your time. They expect you to attend their functions or aid them with little or no notice, and with little or no appreciation. Since you don't have a spouse or children, they incorrectly assume that you're not as busy as them. Work, social events, dating, and friendships suffer because of it. This prevents you from getting even because it impedes your search for a mate with whom you can procreate. It's difficult to ever get retribution, especially as a youngest child. This is common with ethnicities with strong family bonds who use guilt to maintain closeness, such as, italians, mexicans, armenians, indians, persians, and jews.
Heather: Hey Jenny, are you going to the match.com event tonight?
Jenny: I can't, family sabotage, I have to help my niece with her homework tonight.

James: Dude, are you going to Stephanie's birthday party tonight?
Henry: Ugh, no, family sabotage, I have to babysit my nephew.
