RVU, short for really violent uprooting, refers to one person threatening to harm or even kill another in order to open a spot for him or herself in a game of cards (such as euchre).
Jim: I'll RVU you if you don't give me your spot!

Referring to a grading system in dental school to help wasting students’ time in clinic doing nothing and pretending assistant their classmates. Usually dental students have to beg their faculty for penny rvu’s to graduate.
