Like steampunk, but better. Victorian-era technology used to make crazy-ass shit, like the spider robot in Wild Wild West or Alan Moore's Tom Strong. A spaceship with lots of huge cogwheels and valves and pistons and things.

Something classic or old without being old fashioned. Also it has to be something special. Its actually the opposite of Bling Bling yet it's used to describe something extremely cool.

RetroAchievements is a website to play retro games like Atari and NES titles on emulators and earn achievements in them. Also newer consoles like N64, PSX and Nintendo DS are supported. The achievements on the site are made by players for players and contain achievements for game progress, finding easter eggs and a lot other creative challenges. The players can show their progress to other users on their profile and also submit highscores and best times of minigames and races to compete with other players to be the best. The number of supported games increases every week and there are special events to make playing the games even more fun. The best thing, it's for free!

Retrotechno

The love of vintage technology and retro visions of the future, most commonly from the mid to late 1900's with special focus on the 80's and early 90's.

Humerously cumbersome, oddly obsolete, or completely pointless and time consuming to use, these devices were often hailed in their time as being modern and futuristic while in retrospect seeming like a large waste of time.

Most often seen (and celebrated) in older movies dealing with cutting edge (for their time) technology, or Futuristic devices.

Johnny's cellphone was ringing, he reached to the back seat of his Delorean for the handy briefcase weighing only 14 lbs, the latest in portable technology and completely Retrotechno!
