Arriving early to an event only to have too much time on one’s hands that you decide to dick around for a bit to pass the time. After getting so engrossed in your leisurely activity, you then become late for said event.

I avoided traffic and got downtown early for Hamilton, but while strolling around in Macy’s, I lost track of time. I overdicked it and missed the opening number. The usher didn’t let me in until after they sang the song“My Shot,” never again.

when you allot time for yourself to do something and think you have time to dick around beforehand, only for you to overdick around or “overdick it” and actually end up late.

i knew it would only take me an hour to get ready for the party when i had 3 hours to get ready, so i got on my phone for a while and then realized i overdicked it when i realized the time 20 minutes before was supposed to leave.

Overdiction

1.when a word has more then ten definitions in the dictionary, mostly due to multiple possible uses.

2. when a word has over ten meanings on urbandictionary.com, just because an assload of people had to give their own personal touch on it and feal important in this way. The definitions usually mean the same damn thing but have been slightly modified to better fit one's vocabulary or style. On rare events, this occurs because one was unaware the word already existed on urbandictionary and thought they'd be wise to put it up. This can also be called originality theft.

1. the word set has to have something like 30 meanings... it's overdicted.

2. abercrombie has over 160 meanings on urbandictionary, I think at least 100 of them mean the same damn thing... when did overdiction become cool?

I overdicted a word I thought wasn't up and I just realized... I think I'm a victim of originality theft.
