A campaign promise made by President Barack Obama during the 2008 presidential election campaign which he has now back peddled on and not bothered to explain to his supporters.

Combination of Obama and Promise. Obamise.

Mr. Smith told his students he would have a pizza party for them on the last day of school. The students asked Mr. Smith where the pizza was when that day came around and he replied, "Oh that was an Obamise."

A white person who shows overzealous support of african-americans based on pity, making them, in fact quite racist.

Can also denote any person with an unmerited sense of respect or approval, typically of the african persuasion.

Donald: "I'm going to buy my neighbor, Tyrone some Murray's Hair Cream because he already spent his welfare check on rims."

Franklin: "He deserves more than the struggles with prejudice that he encounters daily. We're both good people and avid obamasexuals."

Unquestioning follower of a charismatic, arrogant leader. Akin to the "ites" mentioned in the Old Testament, who served as God's rod against Israel.

Sen. Nancy Pelosi, Sen. Harry Reid and Rep. Barney Frank are high profiled Obamites. The college student standing outside the grocery store, trying to get you to sign that petition to outlaw meat-eating is the prototypical Obamite.
