Notmycat

A cat that you have personally met and interacted with, but is not officially yours (or at least not yet). Notmycats often enter a person's patio or even the home itself, as if they own the place. Multiple visits are common.

A notmycat that is confirmed to not have an owner is eligible to become a "nowmycat."

"Aww, your cat is so cute!"

"Yes he is. He doesn't even live here though, he's a notmycat!"
