Noon-on 

The afternoon timeframe beginning specifically at at noon trough the duration of the afternoon. Attention to the time is relative to noon vs anytime in the afternoon. Consideration of other times is acceptable, but should first acknowledge noon. "Noon-on" establishes a relative degree of protocol to planning time, beyond simply afternoon, early afternoon, or late afternoon. See examples below:

The process only takes a few hours, and we'd like to finish early, so lets begin noon-on. (The process can begin anytime in the afternoon, but relative to the "duration" and "end-early" desire, consideration should be given to noon, to early afternoon first).

Proper use of this is when a hot girl comes up to you to ask what time it is and you reply with this.
I heard this on the show "Beevus and Butthead."

A homosexual or group of homosexuals, or homosexual sympathizers.

In California, proposition 8 is a ban on gay marriage, if you are against proposition 8, You are in favor of gay marriage, and therefore either a homosexual or a homosexual sympathizer.
