Metocin (4-hydroxy-N-methyl-N-ethyltryptamine) is a psychedelic compound invented by Alexander Shulgin and described in his book TiHKaL. Its name comes from a mashing of 'methyl' and 'psilocin', the interchangeable analogue of psilocybin.
"Dude, this metocin is good medicine! Get it??" said the insufferable asshole who was tripping with me. "Yes, you're very clever," I said, "now will you let me enjoy this metocin trip without your snark?"
