Death by 1000 meetings

As the modern form of an ancient torture, death by 1000 meetings is defined as the annihilation of a project, action or ultimately a person due to time wasted in having to attend a seemingly infinite amount of non-productive meetings.

This is in direct correlation to the mathematical theory which states WORK = 1 / MEETINGS, as the amount of meetings increases, the amount of tangible work gets divided to oblivion.
Bob: What happened to the billion dollar R&D project that Joe was working on?
Mary: Death by 1000 meetings

Rick: Hey I thought you were working on that perpetual motion machine, why hasn't anything progressed in the last 3 years?
Jason: Death by 1000 meetings

Mark: Did you hear about the case of fiscal insolvency of a city over in California?
Ann: Sure did, yet another case of death by 1000 meetings!

Memelignant

A condition afflicting an individual who is increasingly only able to express themselves with the use of cliché memes.
Thelma posted another of of those "this is so me" memes for the 4th time today, she's getting very memelignant.

memeing around

Memeing around is the present participle of the verb to meme.
It is not synonymous with messing around (which is not thought through) and hanging out (which is too thought through). Memeing around is the perfect word to use when you just want to "joke" around with friends but your time has a little bit of thought, and it's less effort than joking around because you are mostly on your phone sharing/dealing memes.
Example:
Friend: "What are you doing today?"
You: "Oh, just memeing around with some friends."
Friend: "Oh cool! Can I join?"

the memening

A recently discovered illness that can occur when the memes are simply too strong for you. You reach what is called "the memening". Memening inducing websites commonly include uTube, 9geg, 4chen, Urban dictionary and the entire internet.

You may potentially suffer semi-short lasting side-affects which will probs include:

- Shortness of breath
- Confusion of political figureheads particularly on voting day
- Cardiac arrest (not as common but we put it down to avoid being sued by people in case it happens)
- MWS (meme withdrawal symptom)
- A slight to moderate to semi-moderate to strong chesty cough that probs means u also have cancer #DrWebMD
- Death
- Many others...

If you suffer from these side-affects for more than 48 hours you should probs call someone ayy cos it's not good to avoid memes for more than a day at most.

Some of the more major concerns with this illness globally include confusing politicians and voting for the wrong one by accident cos u were high on dank memes at the time and now deeply regret your decision (this is typical of American residents, we don't know why...)

If you are worried for yourself or a loved one currently exhibiting symptoms of this illness, do not hesitate to contact your health care professional immediately but be aware that ambulances may not respond to calls about this illness as they will think you've just dropped 2 meny pingas with the squad at the club last night and r prank calling them for a cheeky giggle.
The day after the 2016 U.S Presidential Election...
Memelord 1: Hey who'd you vote for president?
Memelord 2: I dunno.
Memelord 1: What do you mean you don't know?!
Memelord 2: Well I think I might have caught 'the memening' from some meme you sent me online the other day.
Memelord 1: Oh, yeah that link did look pretty sketchy ayy lmao.

Memelord 2: It's weird how the number of views that post got was the exact number of Trump voters...
Memelord 1: Well fuck.

memelitism

Disliking a meme because of other people liking it. This may be due to the quantity of others passing the idea along, or because the undesirable nature of the communities receiving it. A combination of "meme" and "elitist."
Sikander's memelitism kept him from reading danah boyd's blog once it was referenced in 'Newsweek.'

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.

Salad Days

green inexperienced youthful judgement and cold blooded execution of those judgements.

Rashness with little concern of consequence.
