When one someone thinks or acts like they were involved in an action, event or conversation yet they arrogantly forgot their lack of participation

Ted: "Hey, Bill. Did you see me do that 30 second keg stand at your party last night!?"
Bill: "You weren't there, Ted. You weren't there..."
Ted: "Sorry, Bill. I contracted a bad case of manesia."

Manesia

When a man begins an activity and doesn't complete it because they forgot there is more than 1 step.

My husband took the trash out but was struck with a sudden case of manesia and forgot to put in a new liner. OR Tommy out his clothes in the washer but due to his chronic manesia it sat there for days and had to be rewashed.
