The proper name of the language used with rap and Hip Hop music.

Any language used and understood either exclusively or primarily by African-American inner-city residents.

eg.: crib, phat, honky, 'sup

In order to understand some of the lyrics associated with today's music, you'd need a degree in Junglish.

junglist

JUNGLIST (jun*gul*list)n. 1) A male or female who regularly listens to drum & bass/ jungle music. Junglist are also very aware of breakbeat culture practicing most traditions in & around breakbeat & hip- hop culture (ie. graffiti, breaking, mc'ing, dj'ing).
Junglists are very bias towards Jungle/drum & bass but have a general open mind towards broken beats.

1 Before the emergence of Jungle/dnb this word used to describe the inhabitants of the Tivoli gardens area of Kingston Jamaica and was also taken on by the young people of the Broadwater farm estate in the Tottenham area of London.

2 Someone who is in full feeling of a certain type of music and vibe most typified in jungle/dnb . However an old skool junglist would have their roots firmly in 80's hip hop and reggae/dancehall and would have been effected by the early acid house and rave scene thus bringing with them there hip hop and reggae influences,essentially a junglist would listen to any music that has a certain ruff vibe to it most typified by breakbeats and heavy bassline

a junglist, but a junglist to the extreme. Someone who lives and breathes music like dnb. Junglist soldiers are extremely hardcore and rarely attempt to listen to other types of music apart from dnb and other related music.

Junglist

A junglist is someone who has a deep passion for drum n bass and jungle music. I have read definitions on here saying a junglist is just someone who listens to drum n bass. I'll tell you this now... that's not the reality. A junglist is someone who not only listens to drum n bass, but has jungle music flowing through their mind, body and soul. I started going raving when I was 15... I'm now 21. A junglist is someone who has a deep love for drum n bass and cares about the music. Like MC Shabba says "I don't care what your name is, I don't care about your age"- You get the picture, anyone can be a junglist as long as they love the music. Junglists are badman, superstar, dress like a king, stand out in a the crowd like a diamond ring... hahaha just fucking about but on a serious note anyone who has a deep and I meen deep passion for jungle DnB has the right to call themself a junglist. I am one. Boh
