insult-definition

A definition on urbandictionary designed to flame another. Usually on an external party, but regular users tend to make such definitions about other users. Some of the best are the flames about psycho bitch by G-union, although some have now been deleted.
This may include posting under another users' accepted screen-name to write a definition questioning the parentage or sexual orientation of the user.

name insult definitions

Creating a definition using a name or random word to insult someone. Insulting definitions are usually a name and consist of insulting words or comments about the person who's name is the definition. I don't like "insert name here" and these are the reasons why. The problem with name definitions is that there may be multiple definitions for the name and the person you are trying to insult will not be able to know which definition is yours, and even if you don't like said person it is doubtful other people will read your listing and say to themselves "Hey, if he doesn't like that guy I shouldn't either". Writing name definitions to insult someone is an ineffective method of letting someone know you don't like them.
I don't like people that make name insult definitions, if you don't like someone that I don't know why should I care. Insult the person with your friends or people that actually know who it is you are talking about.

abandonware

n. software that is no longer sold or supported by the original publisher / developer, often found as free downloads on the internet because it cannot be obtained elsewhere. Not legal, but often seen as morally acceptable because the company that made it is no longer selling the title, nor releasing it as freeware, therefore abandonware is "keeping the game alive", so to speak.
Doom II is not abandonware because id still sells it, while The Incredible Machine is not sold, therefore is abandonware.
