hackerspace

a place where do-it-yourselfers share sophisticated tools and expertise
As information becomes more digital, public libraries are striving to redefine their roles. A small number are working to create "hackerspaces," where do-it-yourselfers share sophisticated tools and their expertise.

hackerspace

A facility to incubate nerds and equip them with tools. Currently found in all major cities, hackerspaces exist to pool nerds' resources together and enable them to build and invent ever newer and better things. Most hackerspaces are equipped with rapid prototyping machines (3D printers, laser cutters, CNCs), metal milling tools, welding, electronics, and millinery.
Edgar: "Hey, I want to build a door bell that will tell me who is at the door!"
Zeke: "I think the local hackerspace has the tools you'll need, but you'll have to buy your own parts."

hammerspace

The infinite amount of space within something in which items are stored. Inventories in video games are a prime example, as the character is somehow able to hold a metric fuckton of stuff without any sign of even a bag on him.
Guy 1: "Dude, 500 pokéballs?! How do you even fit all of that in one pocket?!"

Guy 2: "It's a hammerspace backpack, bro."

hammerspace

1. The place where hammers live. Often an unseen, extradimensioal space just big enough to store one large wooden mallet, used to hit perverts over the head. From anime.
2. Any such hidden location where an object, usually violent in nature, comes from unexpectedly
1. "Did you see Akane? Kuno was getting gropy and then out of hammerspace he got whacked on the head by her mallet."
2. "These action movies are too unrealistic--everyone has hammerspace."

hammerspacetime

The combination of hammerspace and hammertime as predicted by Albert Einstein. As a neologism it almost makes no sense.
"Wow, placing this Tumble Time Tigger next to this Amy Rose figurine warps quite a bit of hammerspacetime."
"Dude, what the fuck are you talking about?"

Hackersnacks

When you turn your keyboard upside down and bang it out on the desk. Then you have some snacks you can eat if you are hungry.
Durrf: While I could get up to get real food, I'm on a roll with this code so I'm just going to much on hackersnacks for a while. I had some doritos the other day so I should be good.
