An elongated second toe used to climb trees, and hang by ones feet from balconies.
In women, useful in getting a better grip on their mates back. In males, useful for quickly climbing down from second floor windows when husbands roll in the front door.

Adjective. Used to describe persons who have adjusted or altered their lifestyle for environmental reasons.
