Epiphemy
Epiphany misspelled.
Pronounced "eh-piff-em-me"
A sudden idea that solves (or seems to solve) an existential problem: An unusual solution that becomes the clear and obvious answer (at least for the moment.)
A revelation.
An answer that feels given and without cognitive effort, often resulting from small coincidental events or objects that bring a latent memory to mind. It can also arise from contemplation - see 'lateral thinking' on Wikipedia.
