Disaronno

Italian liqueur, of the Amaretto persuasion. Tastes great, sweet but still very strong. Best when on the rocks or with Coke.

Disaronno is some good ish... it is sweet and only 56 proof but it will get you drunk, make no mistake!

Disaronno

A drink largely marketed at the gay community, particularly in England. Gays drink Disaronno straight, but 'super-gays' drink it with coke, or, worse, DIET coke. If you see a man drinking Disaronno, and you're not in a gay club...run, because you actually are in a gay club.

Oli: "I need to buy more Disaronno."
Alex: "Why?"
Oli: "Cause I'm really gay."
Alex: "You're not going to...mix it with anything are you?"
Oli: "Yeah. Coke."
Alex: "Aww no."

That not-quite-with-it, not-quite-keeping-up, not-quite-actually-in-control feeling. The not-enough-sleep, a-bit-hungover, just-been-Tango'd feeling, like you want to shake the muzziness out of your head. And your life. When you stop in the middle of a sentence, staring at the inside of your forehead with your mind's eye, lost in a trance, and someone interrupts you and you say "Wha...? Umm..." That feeling.
