coverass 

A person who's aware of having done something that would hurt a second party, and uses different types of techniques to cover his back, in order to avoid drama.

It is a lame behaviour that involves a smart technique, used by the coverass person in order to separate from himself the trouble he has caused, and move it onto the action that would be supposed to repair it, or to put the blame on someone else.

a couple at a party:

guy: "baby, i just wanna tell you that you're the only one for me"

girl: "aww that's sweet..who's that hot girl who keeps looking at you?"

guy: "uh..nobody..she's just a girl i hooked up with the night i met you.."

girl: "you're such a coverass!!!"

coverassery 

The insurmountable compulsion cowardly and subservient people have to delay, postpone or delegate crucial decisions in order to displace responsibility and/or blame in case something goes wrong. Antonym of badassery.

-Did we get the budget addition?
- No, the boss was too busy saying yes to everything to defend the proposal. Pure coverassery.
