when you are on IM and you are "chatting" with your significant other and one or more other people at the same time!

I cannot believe that he was cheat chatting on you last night! He actually had the nerve to be talking to you, his girlfriend and some other girl at the same time! What a jackass

Facebook Chat Cheating

This occurs when someone you are talking to on Facebook chat accidentally messages you something intended for someone else.

Me: "Dude I was talking to Stef last night and she said I was good looking for a black guy.."
John: "You're not black..."
Me: "I know... I don't get it.."
John: "A typical example of Facebook Chat Cheating my friend.."
Me: ?
John: "You're not the only one she's talking to ;)"
