It is mostly used to describe people who would be considered middle class using brands like Becca, or wearing fake Gucci. It's almost like calling out those trying to act above their station.

When ghetto folk/white trash/poor people try and act above their station. Offshoot of 'bourgeois'. Usually an insult thrown out by jealous haters.
