The perpetual target black men have on them their entire life. They are forced to survive in poor communities, harassed by law enforcement, are incarcerated at high rates, suffer job discrimination, receive poor medical care and have shorter life spans. black man, African-American, black male, brothers, inner city, ghetto, prison, discrimination, racism, black on black crime, law enforcement, cops, slavery, Jim Crow, segregation, mass incarceration, preschool to prison pipeline, the Black Codes, Dred Scott, the Deep South
Every evening when I come home from work, a police car is always in my rearview mirror. I've never been to jail, don't have a record and my tags are up to date. What gives man?! Joe, you aint trippin, you got the black guy bullseye on you.
