Regal definition referring to the act of vomiting explosively, which produces the ya----bb-leeeeeee effect. Origins can also be traced to the original usage of yabble dabble doo, which was cut short for more repetitive usage. Most commonly seen at venues carrying alcoholic beverages and scandalous women.

Yarbler
Deep mumbling baritone style of vocalists popular with early to mid-1990s singers in Modern Rock music. Though Eddie Vedder is often the most referenced example of a pure yarbler, many lesser singers of lesser bands have mimicked his yarbling to comically terrible results. Best example of this is Creed's Scott Stapp.
Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder is the standard bearer of yarblers, others include Lane Stanley of Alice In Chains, arguably Chris Cornell of Soundgarden fame.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
