The VVD (Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie | People's Party for Freedom and Democracy) is a Dutch liberal centre-right party, which delivered the longest serving prime minister Mark Rutte. Their target audience are middle-class citizens and small businesses. Key views are a strong economy, tough stance on security and migration, and a strong importance of individual freedoms and values.
